By signing up for a Woodie Wagon Tour you Agree to the Following Policies:

Before You Arrive

• Tours are by appointment only.

• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Wear comfortable shoes, as portions of the tour include walking and stairs.

• Please follow all guide instructions and remain with the group throughout the experience.

• Photography is welcome with your guide's approval.

• Smoking, vaping, and open flames are prohibited anywhere on the property.

 

Parking

Limited parking is available on-site. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Oaklea Mansion.

 

Woodie Wagon Experience

If your tour includes a ride in our beautifully restored vintage 1931 Ford Model A "Woodie" Wagon, you'll enjoy a truly unique step back in time. Because this is a historic automobile, it does not include many of the modern safety features found in today's vehicles.

 

By completing your reservation, you acknowledged and accepted the risks associated with riding in the Model A Station Wagon and agreed to release and hold harmless The Carlock House, Inc., Oaklea Mansion, LLC, their owners, staff, operators, and affiliates from liability related to participation in the vehicle ride.

 

Historic Property Notice

Oaklea Mansion is a historic home and museum featuring original stairs, uneven surfaces, and other characteristics common to historic properties. By booking your tour, you acknowledged these conditions, voluntarily assumed the associated risks, and agreed to release and hold harmless The Carlock House, Inc., Oaklea Mansion, LLC, their owners, staff, and affiliates from claims relating to injury, loss, or damage during your visit or travel to and from the property.

Historical & Woodie Wagon Tours Cancellation Policy

To provide the best experience for all guests, please review our cancellation policy before your tour.

Cancellations by Guests

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled tour will be able to reschedule free of charge.

Cancellations made 24–72 hours before the scheduled tour are eligible to reschedule with a 50% credit towards a future tour.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, or failure to arrive for the scheduled tour ("no-show"), are non-refundable.

 

Rescheduling

Guests may reschedule their tour one time at no additional charge if the request is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour, subject to availability.

 

Weather

Tours may be delayed, modified, or canceled due to severe weather or conditions that make the experience unsafe. If Oaklea Mansion cancels a tour because of weather, guests may choose to:

Reschedule for a future available date or forfeit their tour fees.

 

Light rain or seasonal temperatures may not result in cancellation, as portions of the tour can often be adjusted.

 

Minimum Participation

Oaklea Mansion reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a tour if minimum participation requirements are not met. In this event, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

 

Late Arrivals

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled tour. Tours begin promptly at the reserved time. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to join the tour and may forfeit their reservation without a refund.

 

Tour Changes

The route, duration, or attractions included in the tour may occasionally change due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues with the historic Model A "Woodie" Wagon, or other unforeseen circumstances. When possible, comparable experiences will be provided.
